Hannah is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Florida. She provides therapy services at Evolve Therapy under the supervision of Petergay Sterling, PMHNP-BC, LMHC-QS, EMDR. Hannah is actively receiving specialized training in trauma-informed and trauma-focused counseling approaches.
Grounded in her own life experiences and a deep care for people, Hannah is especially passionate about working with individuals navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and substance use. She has interest in religious and medical trauma, but is enthusiastic about working with individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Hannah strives to be a safe, warm and healing space for every person that finds themselves sitting in her office. Her previous work experience involves substance abuse treatment, group facilitation, crisis intervention and individualized support for children facing a variety of challenges. Advocacy, social justice, and affirming care—particularly for the LGBTQIA+ community—are central to Hannah’s work and guide the way she shows up in the therapy room with humility, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique journey.
Hannah practices from an evidence-based, multicultural, and holistic framework that honors the connection between mind, body, and soul. Her evolving theoretical approach integrates Adaptive Information Processing (AIP), somatic-based interventions, Narrative Therapy, and a DBT-informed lens, all held within a trauma-informed and trauma-focused foundation. She values compassion, safety, authenticity, collaboration, and gentle challenge, and believes healing happens within a relationship built on trust and empowerment. Her goal is to support clients in
exploring their experiences, building resilience, and moving toward greater connection, meaning, and healing.
Outside the office, Hannah enjoys playing guitar, watching reality TV and spending time in nature staying active. These practices help her remain grounded, present, and connected—both personally and professionally.
