Nina is currently pursuing her clinical practicum as a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student under the mentorship of Ms. Petergay Sterling, PMHNP-BC, LMHC-QS, EMDR, at Evolve Therapy. Drawing from her extensive background as a U.S. Army combat veteran and her professional experience as a licensed mobile diagnostic radiographer and bachelor’s prepared registered nurse, Nina integrates sharp analytical skills with a deep appreciation for the intricate connections between mental and physical wellness.

Nina’s multifaceted healthcare journey has shaped her philosophy of comprehensive patient care, where she views mental health through a lens that encompasses the complete human experience. Her military service and diagnostic imaging expertise have cultivated both clinical precision and empathetic understanding, enabling her to connect with patients on multiple levels while maintaining professional excellence.

Through her PMHNP clinical preparation, Nina has developed a strong commitment to trauma-informed therapeutic approaches and building genuine, trust-based relationships with her clients. She is particularly drawn to supporting individuals through significant life changes, trauma healing processes, and the distinct challenges experienced by diverse populations, including younger clients, adults, military veterans, and individuals across the entire spectrum of mental health and wellness.
